Rising from the Ashes
Sometimes life doesn’t fall apart quietly… it erupts. But what if the chaos isn’t the end— what if it’s the forge? You’re not breaking… you’re becoming something stronger.
Hello Sunshine!
There you are, minding your own business, moving through your normal routine when suddenly—KA-BAM!
The walls come crashing in… flames, smoke, tremors, explosions—mass chaos has emerged!
Okay… maybe not always to that literal extent, but figuratively? Quite accurate to how it can feel on the inside.
When the flames burn high, get out of the burn zone. It’s okay to cool it down for a moment when you can’t handle the heat. Life doesn’t always feel fair… sometimes, it feels fiery.
We are all dealt different hands, yet human beings possess an incredible ability to overcome even the most unfathomable circumstances—and still go on to live abundant, happy, healthy, and whole lives.
There are times when we cannot recognize the changes we need to make within ourselves. And so, life—perhaps even the universe—has a way of humbling us. It melts us down, brings us to our knees, and leaves behind ash for us to sift through.
But pause for a moment… and reflect on the mythical Phoenix. It perishes in flames, only to rise again from its own ashes—reborn, renewed, and radiant.
In much the same way, there will be moments when our world feels like it’s gone up in a blaze… and we are called to rise from what remains—stronger, bolder, brighter, and more beautiful than ever before.
Unwelcome events are often the catalysts for the most momentous transformations. The loss of an ability, an identity, a job, a home, or a loved one… living through disaster, war, addiction, or even a complete mental unraveling.
Each carries a cost. Each may strip us down to our very core. But within that grief… there is also potential for profound beauty.
These moments can either burn and break us… or refine and rebuild us.
During life-altering seasons, it is crucial to remain as calm as possible—and vital that our decisions come from a place of genuine care, self-consideration, and reverence for our well-being.
When everything feels like it’s falling apart, it is easy to become reactive, impulsive, or dismissive of our needs. But this is when we must steady ourselves.
Do not be dismayed. Do not be afraid. Take your position… and stand still.
You will survive the battle before you. And in the process—you will become.
You will push past perceived limitations, develop expansive wisdom and perspective, and evolve into a version of yourself rooted in strength, resilience, and renewal.
Within the wreckage, new values and principles are forged—lit by the very fires that once threatened to consume you.
Sometimes everything must crumble… so something stronger can be built.
It takes tenacity, courage, and fortitude to sift through the rubble—to gather the pieces, brush off the soot, and begin again.
To overcome the death of a former version of ourselves, we must make peace with it. We must dig deep—choosing to participate in our own lives, even when the path forward is unclear, instead of retreating into the darkness of disillusionment.
It is the willingness to try… the desire to rise… the quiet determination to continue—that carries us through.
Our subconscious mind absorbs everything—like a sponge soaking in each experience, each belief, each story we’ve told ourselves. Over time, patterns repeat, narratives echo, and outdated truths linger.
Sometimes, they must be wrung out.
We must cleanse what we thought we knew, making space for new perspectives, fresh awareness, and expanded understanding.
Nothing we think, feel, or perceive is permanent—unless we choose to make it so.
Even in uncertainty, we move forward. Even without all the answers, we rise.
Guidance from others is a gift, and seeking support is a strength. We honor those who stand beside us as we rebuild—piece by piece, breath by breath.
Because sometimes…
it is in letting go of everything we once were
that we finally become who we are meant to be.
So no matter what you are facing—keep rising. Keep reaching. Keep reigniting that flame within you.
You are not finished… you are forging.
Have an empowered, ignited, and reawakened day! I love you!
